Qurbani is more than a donation — it is a powerful act of devotion and sacrifice, while in India alone nearly 200 million people, around 14% of the population, are undernourished. Through your Qurbani, you can bring relief, dignity, and nourishment to families in need. We ethically source all animals and ensure every Qurbani is carried out strictly in accordance with Shariah guidelines — so you can give with complete peace of mind and trust.
We will comply with the donor on their visibility requirement, and HD photographs and videos will be taken. No photograph/video showing blood or slaughter occurring will be shared. The project media will showcase all project activities with the donor branding where possible. All documents will be shared in a timely manner during Eid-ul-Adha days.
For organizational donors, in order to assure animals are pre-booked at the quoted prices, a minimum number of animals have to be agreed at the time project approval, and an advanced payment of at least 50% would be required for the same. Please note that we will have additional reserves of animals in case of any last-minute orders. Online individual donors must donate full value.
The project committee that includes a certified Aalim and experts of animal sourcing, all together purchase animals from wholesale vendors. It is important to note that for organizational donors, good quality of animals and price quoted can be insured if the number of animals are confirmed latest 30 day prior to Eid-ul-Adha, to ensure project effectiveness and efficiency.
We fully understand the value and responsibility of Qurbani projects, and have a strict no odor, no blood, and no filth policy, where the area is cleaned and disinfected, waste is transferred out through small trolleys, and it does not flow in the drainage or nearby areas. Each bag is weighted before distributions for equal quantity provided to each beneficiary selected.
For the purchase of animals, Qurbani process, health/hygiene, separation of animals from the site locations, disposal of waste, and all other project steps, shariah compliance will be strictly adhered to. Our organization’s board has a certified Aalim to ensure that we strictly abide by the Sharia guidelines of the project.
We have been doing Qurbani project in India every year for the past 15 years. Millions in India still struggle with hunger — around 1 in 7 people remain undernourished. The Qurbani Project can play a significant role in addressing hunger in India. The meat from the sacrificed animals can provide a source of protein and nutrition to families who may not have access to it on a regular basis.
